When trying to download a video from a Sony camera via USB on Windows 10, it may crash with an Out of Memory error. The hard drive will not be full but Windows 10 will not be able to download it.
I sorted this by inserting the SD card in my Mac and downloading but you can't seem to access the AVCHD folder other than through Quicktime, which will only let you view the files - not open or managed them. To fix this, Ctrl-Click the AVCHD folder and choose "Show Package Contents" - you will now be able to open and move the individual video files.
